100'000 children are affected each year by this neglected disease which ravages their faces in a matter of weeks.
We won't look away!
Founding member Bertrand Piccard about Noma
Noma, a forgotten children's disease in Africa
Every year approximately 100,000 malnourished children aged 2 to 6 are struck by a disease called "noma". It ends deadly for most of them if no immediate treatment is available.
The association NOMA-AID-SWITZERLAND makes every effort to eradicate noma and help the affected people.
